Nationwide Express sees higher profit

SHAH ALAM: Nationwide Express Courier Services Bhd is confident its newly launched Pharmaceutical Dedicated Delivery (PDD) solution will help increase the company’s revenue and profit by at least 10%.

Managing director Rozilawati Basir said that the company had invested about RM5mil to acquire 14 chilled vehicles of various sizes.

Moreover, it has also equipped its stations with chillers and freezers and, trained its employees.

“A growing number of customers have requested for such services and the PDD would assist customers meet the guidelines on ‘Good Distribution Practice’ set by the Ministry of Health,” she told a press conference after the launch of the PPD solution in Shah Alam yesterday.

The ministry requires that the storage, transportation and distribution of any registered products are in good quality and well preserved when it reaches customers.

“We have seen tremendous growth in the past decade, and we have grown into a truly leading player, particularly in the areas of courier and logistics.

“Over the years, we have been servicing the logistics needs of many top pharmaceutical companies in Malaysia,” she added. — Bernama
